Haunted Fort
Fridays & Saturdays in OctoberThis is the Haunted Fort's 15th year out at Fort Abraham Lincoln National Park in Mandan. It is known as North Dakota's #1 Haunted Attraction. The Haunt leads you through the different buildings at the state park including the Custer House.

Daily through October 22ndPapa's Pumpkin Patch is a yearly tradition for many in the Bismarck-Mandan area. Take a trip out and pick a pumpkin from their huge variety.
Kids and adults alike will have a blast with all the activities including photo ops, bale mazes, slide mountain, zip lines, horse drawn hayrides, Sebastian's Train and so much more! Some of these activities may have a small fee.
Admission is $4/person, those 2 and under are free.

Monday, October 31stIt's the 7th Annual Trunk or Treat event at New Song Church! Kids will love this non-traditional trick-or-treating experience. Volunteers decorate the trunks of their vehicles and hand out candy to those who attend.
This is a FREE event open to everyone. There will also be carnival games, hot dogs, cotton candy, a bike raffle and more!

October 28th & 29thJust when we thought Horror on Harmon was gone for good, they surprised us all with a brand new location out at United Tribes Technical College!
The Haunted House will be in an abandoned building used in World War II with tons of history. Horror on Harmon will be open on Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th from 7 to 11 p.m. both nights.
Mall Trick or Treating
Monday, October 31stWant to avoid the cold this Halloween? Trick or Treating at the Kirkwood Mall is the perfect way to stay warm and safe!
Participating mall retailers will stand outside their stores to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters from 6 to 8 p.m. Kirkwood Mall asks that there are no full face masks.

Saturday, October 29thWear your costumes early and do some trick-or-treating at the Zoo on Saturday, October 29th at 4 p.m. The Dakota Zoo will be decked out with booths, concessions and spooky decorations. Trick-or-treaters can collect candy from local businesses and their favorite animals!
Admission is $3 for both adults and children. The money raised will go towards the care of the animals during the long winter months.

Saturday, October 29thFeeling creative? ND Embroidery & Gifts in the Kirkwood Mall is sponsoring a pumpkin decorating contest!
Decorate a pumpkin (no carving, please!) at ND Embroidery & Gifts by Friday, October 28th between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Pumpkins will be judged on Saturday, October 29th. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive a cash prize.

Friday, October 28thChildren in preschool through 5th grade are invited to the Bismarck Parks and Recreation All City Halloween Party at the World War Memorial Building on Friday, October 28th.
There will be carnival booths, treats and prizes from 6 to 8 p.m. The cost is $1 per child, adults are free.
