Bismarck Named One of the Top Booming College Towns

Bismarck is doing really well for graduates and job seekers. 

The personal finance site Cardrates.com released a study on the biggest college towns that were favorable to recent graduates and job seekers alike. Bismarck was on the list.

Some of the findings include:

• Highest employment growth YOY at 12.20%
• Cost of living 3% below the national average
• Second-highest median household income on this list at $60,320, 4.48% above the national average

We looked at population growth over seven years, the education level of the locals, economic growth and cost of living compared to the national average, and job opportunities throughout the US to determine the college towns that netted the highest positive results in these combined categories to determine 2018’s Booming College Towns.

Bismarck has plenty of room to grow and many people, including college graduates and job seekers, are taking notice.
