The Bismarck Parks and Recreation District is already looking ahead to plans for 2020-2022, and they want your voice to be heard. The BPRD is asking for feedback from the Bismarck community so it can prioritize projects and address needs that matter most to the people who live here. Citizen feedback will play a key role in shaping BPRD's Facilities Master Plan for those years.

The easiest way for you to share your input is by taking this online survey.

The survey asks basic questions, like what facilities do you and your household use the most and then asks you to rate how satisfied you are with them currently. It also asks Bismarck citizens to rate how important certain values are for them, things like: building new facilities, renovating existing ones, providing more affordable activities, and more.

The survey will be active and available through March 26. Those who would prefer to fill out a paper survey can take the survey at the BPRD office at 400 E. Front Avenue. Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The BPRD will use the information to start developing its Facilities Master Plan starting in April.

BPRD has contracted  GreenPlay, LLC to help oversee the Facilities Master Plan. BPRD won the 2017 National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in the Field of Parks and Recreation
