A prostitution sting set up by the Bismarck Police Department earlier this month resulted in the arrest of 17 men, though many more could have been arrested.

According to InForum, the Bismarck Police Department placed an ad online advertising a woman's sexual services for sale, which they had hoped would result in a few arrests.

Unfortunately for the Bismarck Police Department, they were not prepared for the amount of men that responded to the ad:

The ad received 65 responses, but, due to logistical constraints such as a limited number of officers on hand to make arrests, police were only able to arrest and charge 17 of the men who answered.

InForum stated that the suspects ranged in age from 18 to 48 and came from both Bismarck and Mandan, along with Fargo, Grand Forks, and other North Dakota cities. There were also men from other states, like Minnesota and Rhode Island.
