‘Walmart Wabbit’ Caught On Camera: Bunny On The Loose In North Bismarck Store
Do you remember when Walmart had lobster tanks? As a kid, I remember going up to them, staring at the lobsters, examining their claws. It was a fun way to pass the time while my parents shopped around.
At the time, I thought it was so cool, completely oblivious to why these lobsters were on display. I had no idea people were going to eat them. #KidBrain
Do you also remember when Walmart had fish? At the very back of the store, along the wall, they had tanks lined up, full of fish you could take home and call your pet.
I remember my sister and I would beg our parents to take us back there so we could look at the "fishies." Sadly, we couldn't help but notice a few that had gone belly-up.
These were the good times--the past moments we cherish. Now, all of the tanks are gone. There are no live animals at the Walmart stores.
The 'Walmart Wabbit'
Actually, I may have spoken too soon. Yesterday, a woman posted a photo to Bismarck's People Reporting News that she had seen a live creature in the store.
Meet Mr. Bunny.
Yes, the north Bismarck Walmart has an unexpected hopper--I mean, shopper. This little guy made his way into the garden section and decided to start munching on the Ficus plants.
I can't blame him, all the rows of green plants, do make it look like a bunny buffet.
Riepl said the employees are aware that the bunny is in the store, but they haven't been able to catch him.
At this point I think we should just make him the store pet. The mascot.
Like every pet and/or mascot, he needs a name. What should we name this little guy?
Bruno?
Billy?
Peter?
Nibbles?
Hop Tart?
Bunjamin Franklin?
What do you think?
