Bismarck Woman Jailed for Discharging Shotgun in City

A 52-year-old Bismarck woman landed herself in jail on Saturday (Nov 7) after discharging a shotgun within city limits.

Police were routed to the 1100 block of South Highland Acres Road shortly after 7:45 p.m. when the woman opened fire after a dispute with a 70-year-old man. It is unclear whether or not she had any particular target in sight.

The woman faces charges of discharging a gun within city limits and reckless endangerment.
