Bismarck’s Effort to Fill Empty Bowls
Hunger is a world-wide problem brought to Bismarck/Mandan’s attention by the Missouri Valley Coalition for Homeless People, Inc.
To create awareness the coalition is holding an international effort called Empty Bowl Nov. 17 from noon to 4 p.m. at Century Baptist Church. A $15 ticket provides soup and bread along with a keepsake bowl to take home.
For further information on Empty Bowl or to purchase tickets ahead of time visit their website or contact Mary at 701-390-1635.
