OPENING DAY UPDATE: Steakhouse Opening In Bismarck, North Dakota

It is always with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a locally owned restaurant. In October 2024, the owner of Sazon announced that the relatively new restaurant would be closing.

In that same announcement video, he mentioned that a new restaurant was already slated to occupy the space. He said it would likely soon become a steakhouse.

According to a post on Bismarck's People Reporting News Facebook page, this steakhouse is already moving in. In the post, the person said they noticed a sign up on a trailer parked in front of the building, indicating that a Brazilian steakhouse is coming soon.

After further investigation, I was able to confirm this to be true. According to FogaoGaucho.com, a location will be opening in Bismarck.

Yes, Fogo Gaucho Brazilian Restaurant is taking over the Sazon space. You may recognize that name, as there is another location in Bloomington, Minnesota, not far from the Mall of America.

The restaurant's website doesn't provide much information yet, so we don't know exactly when it will open. However, we can check out the menu, and all I can say is, "Wow."

The pictures will absolutely make your mouth water. Oh, and if you're like me, you are going to love this; they will have a salad bar!

That is all we know at this time, but keep checking back for updates; we will let you know when the restaurant is up and running.

**UPDATE: The owners announced on Facebook, that the new restaurant now open, as of January 20th, 2025). The doors open at 4:30.**
