Since its launch in 2004, Capital Area Transit (CAT) has provided transportation throughout Bismarck and Mandan.

With CAT’s 10 year anniversary coming in May, it has provided rides to almost 1,160,000 passengers.  The goal of reaching 1 million rides was actually broken back in March of 2013.

Al Wangler, operations manager, expresses his gratitude:

We are happy to still be providing the people of Bismarck and Mandan with affordable public transportation, ten years later.

The CAT has a total of 12 routes throughout Bismarck and Mandan running Monday – Saturday from 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
