You say record and it seems so old school to some people. I grew up on records,walls deep with vinyls and I remember having my own record player that was portable and could travel anywhere, it looked like the one below.

In fact the coolest DJ's back in the day only spun wax,that's what defined them as a real DJ versus using technology to blend records. I remember sitting with my DJ friends talking for hours about records. My first records were Foreigner "I Want to Know What Love Is" and Whitney Houston's first album.
