[List] Chain Stores We Wish Would Come Back To North Dakota
While you buzz around town and do your holiday shopping, think back to what shopping used to look like. What stores no longer exist in North Dakota?
Blockbuster Video
Look, I know these are really needed anymore because we stream everything, but wouldn't it be cool to reopen one of these just for nostalgic purposes?
Maybe we could go full retro and turn it into a cafe or event space. Yes, please!
Sears
There were a few Sears stores scattered across North Dakota, and I must say, I miss them. They had nice dress clothes and shoes.
Now you have to go to five different stores to find a head-to-toe outfit.
Toys R Us
Yes, there used to be a Toys R Us in North Dakota.
Sadly this franchise filed for bankruptcy years ago, and closed all US locations.
Wet Seal
Gone are the days where we could buy $1 panties and tops that are basically disposable. I looked it up the other day, and saw that people are actually selling "vintage" Wet Seal tops and dresses for HUNDREDS of dollars. HUNDREDS.... I could have bought half of that store with $300 back in the day...I need to sit down, my head is spinning.
Take a look at this one I found. It's listed at $75, and has 96 people watching the listing.
