Change In Ownership: Coffee Shop To Open New Location In Bismarck

You may notice some changes to your favorite coffee shop in the Gateway Mall. The owners of Perk n Beans sold the name "Mocha Mamas" to a couple in Bismarck (The Kaisers) and they are now branching off and starting up their own coffee shop with the name.

Yes, 'Mocha Mamas' is getting settled into a new location with new owners, but to be clear, Perk n Beans will still be operating and selling beans, according to one of the owners.

Where Will It Be?

According to the business' Facebook page it will be located at 1305 E Interstate Ave. You may remember this location was once home to Luna Fusion.

If you're not familiar with where the old Luna Fusion was, it was in the little strip mall next to the Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant, a few doors down from Country House Deli.

You might also notice that this new location isn't very far from the Gateway Mall, so you won't have to wander too far from the usual spot.

Opening Date

It isn't clear when the exact opening date will be, but the business has been posting progress photos and other updates to show how things are going. -- They have been giving us caffeine-loving coffee fanatics an idea as to when we will be able to stop in for our next cup of java.

In an earlier post, it said the shop would be opening this March, but it looks like this has been pushed back into April.

Be on the lookout for 'Mocha Mamas' at their new location in North Bismarck. Make note of it, and stop in on your way to work one morning. Why not support our local businesses/business owners?
