Cher Lloyd visited the PopCrush offices last week for an exclusive chat.

In the sit down, the singer revealed a whole lot of stuff about her new single, the invite Taylor Swift extended her way, her signature shade of red lipstick and more. But she also told us that her new album, 'Sorry I'm Late,' will be late! It's on hold while she continues to put more effort into it and she won't release it until she is satisfied with the final product.

Lloyd asked her fans aka Brats to be patient, since the delay is for them, so she can turn in a complete record that is worthy of them and her.

"I need to give it a bit more 'me' flavor,' so when I am happy, that's when everyone will receive it," she said. Sounds like a pop star who is charge of her destiny.

She also explained that she told fellow 'X Factor' alums Fifth Harmony, who competed on the U.S. version while Llloyd battled it out on the U.K. edition, to learn to say "No" to their handlers and to do what they want, since they ultimately hold the power in their career.

Cher clearly puts her money where her mouth is, since she does what she wants with her music. Lloyd got serious when talking business, revealing more deets about how she learned to say "No" and stop being a "Yes Man," so to speak.

The adorable singer also revealed why she chose T.I. to feature on her latest hit 'I Wish,' which has to do with his lyrical ability, and how she felt about T. Swizzle's invitation to take the stage with her and to perform before tens of thousands of people. She shared how it impacted her when she tasted that level of success and fandom.

For the ladies who want to emulate Lloyd's unique, signature look, she rocks NARS lipsticks and a specific shade from MAC. "I am very careful about what I wear," she said, since she doesn't want to look like everyone else.
