If you frequent the West Acres Mall in Fargo, you'll notice a local favorite restaurant is now permanently closed. Reports from Valley New Live say that CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi restaurant is now closed for business. This was confirmed Monday, July 27th. The closure ends its 7-year run in the Aquarium Court after opening in the space back in 2019.

Sushi, steak, burgers, fries, sashimi, nigiri -you name it. The menu appealed to every member of the family. The CRAVE Chain is actually based out of the Twin Cities. As of right now, there are ten locations still operating in the U.S.:

  • Bloomington (Mall of America)
  • Eden Prairie
  • Edina
  • Maple Grove
  • Minneapolis (Downtown/LaSalle Plaza)
  • Roseville
  • St. Louis Park (West end)
  • Woodbury
  • Sioux City
  • Sioux Falls

A message from the owners was posted to OpenTable to address the closure:

Thank you so much for thinking of us. We know it's disappointing to find out that reservations are no longer available. Unfortunately, we have permanently closed. We are incredibly grateful for the memories, celebrations, and support our guests have shared with us over the years. It has truly been our privilege to serve you. If you'd still like to dine with us, we invite you to visit our website to explore our other locations. We would love to welcome you there!

Be on the lookout for other new changes at the West Acres Mall, as it was recently announced that L.L. Bean is moving into the space formerly occupied by Forever 21.
