New Minnesota Vikings License Plates Available For North Dakotans

If there's one thing we know for certain, win or lose, most all North Dakotans are Minnesota Vikings Fans.

Just recently, I went to my first Vikings game. It was quite the show. The lights, the music, the fans, and of course, the football--it was an experience I know I'll never forget.

What better way to show your support for our favorite NFL team, than by getting all decked out head to toe in Vikings gear?

What if I told you, that you can now deck out your car too? According to the North Dakota Department of Transportation, North Dakotans can now support our favorite team with custom Vikings-themed license plates.

As a matter of fact, for every plate purchased, the Minnesota Vikings Foundation receives a $15 contribution. These contributions help further the foundation's mission to advance the well-being of youth health and education initiatives.

You might have missed it; the initiative launched earlier this year with a requirement that at least 50 fans pre-register to show there is enough interest.

It didn't take long for 50 fans o pre-register. Yes, the Vikings have a strong fan-base outside of the Minnesota borders.

According to the source, the plates mirror the custom plates that have been available in Minnesota for some time. The plates feature the iconic Vikings logo and team colors. You can order these plates on the NDDOT website.
