Just days after the check point was removed from state highway 1806, the same highway is closed again Saturday (October 22) morning due to protesters.

Over 200 protesters has once again caused a stoppage of work at the Dakota Access Pipeline construction according to Morton County Officials. The highway is closed in both directions.

There have been multiple arrest at the site, there were slashed vehicle tires and protesters locked themselves in their own vehicles.

The activity started before day light as a large group of protesters marched up the highway, several miles up to the construction site.

Highway 1806 will remain closed until further notice.
