Recalled Donuts Sold At North Dakota Stores, FDA Warns

The Food and Drug Administration just issued a nationwide recall on chocolate-dipped mini doughnuts found in several North Dakota stores. If you've gone shopping recently, you might want to check and see that you didn't pick up these affected "Donutful Chocolate-Dipped Vanilla Cake Donuts."

According to the FDA's recall website, and DailyMail, the product was packaged and labeled incorrectly. The recall notice says the following.

The product may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Which Batches Are In The Recall?

The 10-donut Donutful Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Cake Donuts packaged in a 7.05 oz carton, containing 5 1.41 oz (40g) Pouches, with UPC: 3 50041 39210 3 are the ones you need to look out for. You can also check the lot number and best-if-used-by date: 9/15/2026 - Lot 26078.

This recall was announced earlier this week (Monday, August 24th), so stores and retailers that carry the product (Target and Amazon) have already started pulling it from shelves.
