Ed Sheeran brought his 'Lego House,' 'The A Team,' and 'You Don't Need Me, I Don't Need You' to the 'TODAY' show in NYC this morning (July 12).

In a true testament to their disciple-like devotion and dedication, his fans lined up for days in advance, battling the heat, humidity and occasional wet weather. Nothing, not even Mother Nature, gets between Ed Sheeran and his fans.

Fans dressed in orange began to hole up on Wednesday and Thursday, with hundreds of them lining up around Rockefeller Plaza in NYC, according to host Matt Lauer.

When the singer performed 'Lego House,' the crowd was definitely heard, singing along to the ballad, while Ed was perched on the circular stage. It felt interactive. Sheeran told Matt Lauer, "My nana always said if you can make it in New York you can make it anywhere... I'm just overwhelmed by it."

One thing you can clearly glean from the performance is how much the fans adore Ed Sheeran.

Ed clearly had a great time, too.

Look at the little girls, singing every word in adoration! They know good music at a young age.
