Hot on the heels of Lauren Jauregui's collaboration with Marian Hill, "Back to Me," as well as Camila Cabello's decision to leave the group to pursue a solo career, Fifth Harmony's Ally Brooke may be the next Harmony to go it solo.

On Monday, January 2, the performer was photographed in-studio working with English songwriter Phil Bentley at Sphere Studios in Los Angeles.

The image was shared on Bentley's Instagram page, where he gushed, "First session of 2017 with the amazing @allybrookeofficial of #fifthharmony!"

As for what the song/music/collaboration may sound like, the songwriter has written songs for artists like Christina Aguilera, JoJo, Cher Lloyd, Sabrina Carpenter and Echosmith, who Brooke worked with back in April.

And while the music Brooke is working on could just be a side project, the timing, considering Cabello's sudden, controversial and drama-ridden departure, does raise some concerns that she could be next to pursue solo stardom away from the group.
