Five Bismarck Restaurants That Need a Second Location
Convenience is a very big thing that all of us could use a little more of, especially when it comes to our favorite restaurant establishments to frequent.
There's plenty of us that wish there were more hours of the day so we could get to all our favorite places and wouldn't have to be pressed for time. Who hasn't been at work knowing they need to take a quick lunch and grab the most convenient thing possible due to the workload they have when they get back from lunch? Compound this with the fact that whether we realize it or not, it's not always the easiest to make our way around the city of Bismarck.
It gets even tougher to make it to our favorite places to go for lunch or dinner when there's plenty of construction happening all over the roads at every turn. So why not make few more locations of some of Bismarck's favorite restaurants? Off the top of our head, here's a short list of just a few to consider.
Panera Bread
Its location on 7th St, right next to Kirkwood Mall has a fantastic selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and bagels! It's a relatively healthy sandwich place that everyone wishes was right down the street from them. There's not one person I know at work who wouldn't be jealous if I walked in from lunch with something from Panera every day.
Five Guys
Sure, the location at 1001 W. Interstate Ave is centrally located, but what if there was another that was right next to where you lived or worked? Their made-to-order burgers are one of the most delicious and certainly satisfying things you could ever imagine. The fries put them over-the-top as a favorite of many. Your mouth is probably watering just thinking about it.
Schlotzsky's
The one Schlotzsky's in Bismarck is a place that I personally frequent more than I should, given the distance needed to travel from work. Its one location at 2000 N. 12th St is always buzzing come lunch time. Their sourdough bread is fantastic on any sandwich and my personal favorite is the Chipotle Chicken, which I highly recommend, but honestly, you won't go wrong with any sandwich off their menu or specialty pizza for that matter. There's only one problem, just like all these other establishments, there's only one location in Bismarck!
Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews
At 3130 N 14th St, Sickies, another great place known for burgers, is unique because of its lone Bismarck location, but again, wouldn't it be great if there was another across town? We all know about its award-winning burgers, various flavors of fries, and the fact that the number of brews it has is jaw-dropping. As popular as it is, why not open up a second Sickies in Bismarck?
Pita Pit
At 2930 N 14th St, there's an establishment that is truly one of a kind in Bismarck, but that doesn't mean it couldn't use a second location. I sense a recurring theme here. With several healthy, yet, delicious options to choose from, you can create your own pita with each order and it's pretty amazing. After the first time I had it, it was immediately a favorite in the lunch rotation. It's really impossible to pick a pita from there that won't seem like the best thing you've ever had at the time, but my personal favorite is the Chicken Caesar. In fact, pitas are so good, people will even get jealous of yours, as seen in the picture.
