Former University of Mary defensive lineman John Oyloe is getting his shot at the NFL.

According to the University of Mary, Oyloe has been invited to the Minnesota Vikings rooking mini-camp, which he could turn into an NFL free agent contract.

Originally from Williston, Oyloe was a three-time All-Northern Sun player and is the Marauders all-time leader in tackles for loss.

Oyloe is the third U-Mary player to receive an NFL tryout in the last four years.

Oyloe will join other Minnesota Vikings rookies, including first round picks Anthony Barr and Teddy Bridgewater, at the team's rookie mini-camp, which begins Thursday in Eden Prairie.
