A class covering North Dakota's wildlife will be available for youth on Sunday, Jan. 19 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

The Burleigh County Extension/4-H Office is partnering with USDA APHIS Wildlife Services to put on the free furbearing class for youth eight and older at the Burleigh County Extension Office.

The class will provide participants with:

  • Hands on experience to learn about furbearing animals in ND
  • Identifying animal pelts, habitat, prey, skulls and tracks
  • Information on ND outdoors

Parents do not have to stay with their children during the class and being a 4-H member is not required.
