‘Game of Thrones’ S7 Wraps: Emilia Clarke Lip-Syncs, HBO Sets New Beers
Game of Thrones Season 7 may have been delayed to summer, but the adjusted production schedule keeps the cast and crew teasing us on the regular. Celebrate with Emilia Clarke lip-syncing the close of production, and check out Brewery Ommegang’s new House-themed concoctions.
Star Emilia Clarke announced an imminent end to production on Season 7 with a lip-sync of “I Believe I Can Fly,” but for those more in the mood for a beer, HBO has just the thing. A new “Bend the Knee Golden Ale” joins their brewery lineup, available on draft and in three collectible 750ml bottles, including House sigils Stark, Targaryen, or Lannister. See for yourself below:
At about 9.0% ABV, Bend the Knee Golden Ale goes for $10.99 per bottle, and will likely beat Season 7 to the punch with a Memorial Day release. In the meantime, take it away, Emilia.
Elsewhere of Game of Thrones Season 7, a list of directors for the year has been announced along with rumors of some major set pieces and battles, while at least a portion of filming will take place in Iceland. Harry Potter star Jim Broadbent has been confirmed for a “significant” role (though apparently not UFC star Conor McGregor), while several notable returns have likely been revealed, and one recast.
We’ll hear more of Game of Thrones Season 7 in the coming weeks and months, but will the close of filming bring about any new teasers?
