Open Letter To The Rude Man At North Bismarck’s Walmart Store
Grocery shopping is never an easy task; you have to go through your entire kitchen, make a list of everything you need, haul yourself out to the store, and fight the crowd to get those things.
It appears that some individuals in Bismarck have made it their mission to make the situation even more stressful than it already is.
While doing my Sunday afternoon grocery haul this past weekend, it was challenging fighting the crowd and navigating the store. This was especially true when it came to the produce section.
I think we can all agree that the produce section is the most hectic part of the Walmart store. First, it's a tight squeeze. Second, maneuvering an already packed cart (because everyone stops at produce last) around the vegetable bins is a pain. Not only that, but trying to get your produce into those thin little plastic bags is extremely difficult; other stores have easy-open versions of these. It's high time we get some of those at Walmart.

Not a Chat Zone
The produce section of any Walmart is always busy, that's why I found it especially rude when two men parked their carts along the vegetable cooler and a vegetable bin to chat with each other about football for twenty minutes. No joke, at least 20 minutes. Excuse my terrible drawing skills, but here's what it looked like:
People were trying to squeeze their carts between the two to get the things they needed. One of the men would shout over the people walking between them. It was pretty frustrating.
Buddy, this isn't ESPN, it's aisle seven.
Never in my life have I seen a man so blissfully unaware or unconcerned with his surroundings. I actually feel bad for one of the gentlemen, because it seemed he was trapped in the conversation, and wanted to get out of there - a social circumstance we've all been in.
A word to the guy leaning against the vegetable cooler, you were being pretty rude. Look, we understand your excitement about football season, but work on your spatial awareness, and find a better spot to chat about football for thirty minutes unless you want your next grocery run to turn into a full contact-sport. Go to any of the larger aisles or clothing aisles where there isn't a ton of cart traffic.
With love,
Everyone in Bismarck.
