Harley Davidson is doing something pretty darn awesome on Saturday.

Ryder, North Dakota, a town of about 85 people in Ward County will be getting a visit from Harley Davidson representatives in an attempt to train and officially license literally every single resident of the small city.

Harley Davidson announced the information in a press release Thursday (June 2, 2017) morning.

According to Harley Davidson, if they are successful in their mission, Ryder North Dakota would be the first fully motorcycle licensed town.

"In Ryder – and across the country – Harley-Davidson is passionate about creating opportunities for new riders to experience and enjoy the sport of motorcycling. With summer quickly approaching, there's never been a better time to learn how to ride a motorcycle," said Anoop Prakash, Director, U.S. Marketing and Market Development, Harley-Davidson in the press release. "By teaching the entire town of Ryder we believe we'll show others how easy – and fun – it can be to make the switch from four wheels to two."

The press release also states that city officials in Ryder will officially change the spelling of the city to "Riders" for the duration of the motorcycle riding season.

"The town of Ryder welcomes the roar of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles down Main Street," said Mayor of Ryder, Jody Reinisch according to the Harley Davidson press release. "We're excited to see several generations of Ryder residents on motorcycles learning together, trying new life experiences and enjoying the beauty of our town and surrounding area like never before."

We certainly invite the newly licensed riders in Ryder to join us at Bike Night on Wednesday nights at Sickies Garage in Bismarck!
