Here’s What’s Going On At The Mandan Rodeo This Year
Here's what's going on at the 142 year of the Mandan Rodeo.
The events begin on Thursday, July 1st Slack at 8 am including: Breakaway, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie Down Roping and Barrell Racing.
Friday, July 2nd performance begins at 7:30 pm. It's Family Night, including free hot dog feed from 5 pm-7 pm.
Saturday, July 3rd performance begins at 7:30 pm, It's Patriot Night, wear the colors of the flag. Let's see your best Red, White and Blue.
Sunday, July 4th performance at 7:30 pm. A Fireworks show to follow the rodeo.
Order of events include:
Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Mutton Bustin, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc, Breakaway, Specialty Act, Tie Down Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing & Bull Riding.

Mutton Bustin' Makes its Return to Mandan in 2021. Mutton Bustin' Registration is open now through Tuesday, June 29th from 9 am to 2:30 pm. Call 701-751-2691 or stop in at Western Edge Electric at 3434 Saratoga Ave #7, Bismarck, North Dakota. There is a limit of 10 competitors each night. All children must be 8 years or younger and under 75 pounds.

You can also buy tickets in person at Petro Serve/Marathon gas stations in Mandan/Bismarck; Dan's Supermarket Mandan; Butcher Block Mandan.
Ticket prices: ages 13 and up $25 – ages 6-12 $10 – 5 and under Free
VIP Tickets available for $100 each night and Includes Behind the scenes tour, access to the contestants hospitality tent, complimentary meal, skip the line at concessions and beer tent and swag bag.
