Here’s Why You Might Have Seen A Camera Crew In BisMan Today
You might have noticed something strange if you went to lunch at The Walrus or Paddle Trap today. -- A camera crew! If you saw the camera crew, you're probably wondering what the heck they were doing there.
BisMan Restaurants Getting A Special Feature
A TV show has been filming at multiple locations in Bismarck-Mandan. Ever heard of America's Best Restaurants?
If not, you had better check it out because BisMan is getting its own special feature.
Yesterday (July 22nd) the show stopped by The Firepit, and today (July 23rd) they stopped by The Paddle Trap and The Walrus. How cool is that?! -Three BisMan restaurants are getting a little national recognition.
Typically, I don't like people watching me eat, but if I had been there for filming, I think I would have made an exception. I also might have shown the camera my chewed food.
According to J Russel, the host of the show, during filming they interviewed each of the restaurants' owners. They asked about the story behind each restaurant, and why it's a special place in the community.
I can tell you why each of these places is special to me:
Walrus - PASTA, my favorite
Paddle Trap - The patio and wintertime igloos
The Firepit - Don't get me started on their brisket. So good.
Russel even sent me a little "taste" of what the episode will look like. Check it out:
