If you've been cruising around north Bismarck today, you might have noticed something new appear.

I'm a person who likes to shop for things I absolutely don't need, so this is filling me with excitement. My bank account is trembling as we speak.

HomeGoods: One Step Closer To Opening

The old Gordman's building in Haycreek Shops now has a new look. A sign was just added to the building, and it reads, "HomeGoods."

We are getting closer and closer to the store opening...yay!

Take a look at this picture that was taken and posted to Bismarck's People Reporting News earlier today:

Next to the new HomeGoods sign, you will also notice another one right next door. "Sierra" is opening soon too. Sierra sells a lot of outdoor apparel, footwear, and other gear you might need if you decide to spend some time out in nature.

What's That?

If you're not familiar with HomeGoods, first, let me gasp; second, let me paint the picture.

HomeGoods is like TJ Maxx on steroids. It's actually an extension of TJ Maxx. If I'm not mistaken, you can return goods purchased at TJ Maxx to HomeGoods and vice versa.

If you didn't know, we have a TJ Maxx in Bismarck, too; it's over by Kobe's and Lowes.

In any HomeGoods store, you will find vases, paintings, chairs, couches, knickknacks, and other home decor items. It's the best.

Opening Date

Unfortunately, we still do not have a date as to when HomeGoods will open to the public, but I think it's safe to say it will be soon. If I were to guess, I'd say it will be open just in time for this year's holiday season. -- Don't quote me on that.
