The 7th annual Bucks for Bras fundraiser event happened last night (October 18th) at Borrowed Bucks in Bismarck and the event keeps growing even more successful every year.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse in Bismarck puts on the yearly event to help raise money for the American Cancer Society and the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. In the past four years, the event has raised over $170,000 and they added much more to that last night.

The totals are in, and the 7th Annual Bucks for Bras raised $51,444! Not only did the event bring in a lot of money for a great cause, there were nearly 440 people who showed up!

As you drive down 3rd Street, you've probably noticed that Bucks has been covered with bras throughout the month. That doesn't begin to tell the story of the event happening inside. There were drink samples, appetizers, a silent auction, a fashion show, survivor stories, and much more.

Prior to the event, there was a line wrapped around the building with so much anticipation of the night to come. It was virtually impossible to find anyone from wall-to-wall without a smile on their face, not just having fun, but knowing what a great cause the night was put on for.

Be sure to check out the photos above and don’t forget to continue to wear pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month throughout October!
