Bismarck’s Freedom Riders – First Class People All The Way
There are many things I have come to truly appreciate from living here in Bismarck...and two words can say it all - FREEDOM RIDERS
Every time I hear the name - Freedom Riders - my thoughts go immediately to all the wonderful things this special group brings to our city. Here is an example I am privileged to see every Wednesday night at Sickies Garage Burgers and Brews during our Bike Night Season - For the last two years, the Freedom Riders have donated a bicycle to a young boy or girl. Their smiles ( from the Freedom Riders and the kids ) will always be etched in my brain.
I asked Marty what he loves the most about his group - he answered quickly, and to no surprise to me his reply was "We LOVE helping those in need, to raise money for a special cause is what we do..."

This run is a scramble, your route is your choice. All you need to do is a minimum of 5 stops or you can do them all if you want. We will have donuts, coffee, and registration at the Freedom Riders Clubhouse from 9 am-noon. You will be allowed to leave at 10 am but must return by 5 pm to turn in your tickets. This year's stops include Luckys/Bismarck, The Black Lions/ Mandan, Rusty’s/St Anthony, Fort Rice, Fort Yates, Solen, Flasher, Carson, Elgin, Glen Ullin, and New Salem. Food will be provided at the conclusion of the ride along with the prizes. We are supporting Addilynn’s Bee-Lievers with proceeds going to this great cause.
