Cars, Burnouts & Small-Town Charm: Why I Love Rods n Rock In Carson
My favorite time of the year - next weekend
I love the whole day, starting from the time I leave our radio station in Mandan and take that relaxing 50-plus-minute drive to Carson, North Dakota. The irony is that it is important to know that Carson is in a different time zone - Mountain Daylight Time - So if you leave Mandan, don't worry if you forgot the time difference, cause once you arrive in Carson, all your care and worries seem to immediately vanish. This will be my 6th Rods n Rock show, and I couldn't be more excited:

What makes this car show special?
First and foremost, it's the people that run this show, the people who bring their whole family out every year, the people who proudly stand next to their shiny vehicle in the sun; it's PEOPLE enjoying the company of a local town that makes everyone feel so welcome. It's truly a one-of-a-kind event that showcases amazing antique cars, trucks, motorcycles, and displays THE legendary Burnout contest!

Ever wonder who puts on the show each year? We don't have a huge army of volunteers—just a small, dedicated crew of family and friends with a whole lot of heart!
Dan is the driving force behind it all, and the rest of us jump in wherever we can to make the magic happen every summer in Carson. We put everything we've got into making this event amazing for you!

I am feeling relaxed already - see you there next Saturday!
