When I was a kid, I'll never forget my parents telling me how we should always respect our military and police department - that has stuck with me through all the years. I try to make it as obvious as possible, I have the utmost respect for anyone who has worn a uniform in the past and who wears one now. The men and women who put on a uniform and walk out the front door, putting their lives on the line to keep us safe.

Today, the Lincoln Police Department held our first-ever police officer applicant testing day! ��

We had 9 applicants participating as they completed a full day of evaluations, including:

� Written Exam
� Physical Agility Test
� Oral Interview Panel

Each candidate gave it their all, and we’re one step closer to finding the next officer to proudly serve the City of Lincoln. �

One of these individuals could be wearing the badge as your next LPD officer!
