North Dakota’s Most Popular Frozen Food Brand Is?

As temperatures are expected to soar into the mid to upper 90s across the Bismarck Mandan area today, let's talk frozen food.

You might want a grab a bag of frozen peas and put it around your neck today.  We're expecting a high of 97 in Bismarck today.  90ish tomorrow and then we should get a break from the extreme heat.

Getting back to frozen foods.  What is North Dakota's number one brand we go to the most?

The team at Mr. Appliance has mined Google Trends to determine the most popular frozen food brand in each state.  I must say I'm not a huge frozen food person in general.  I do eat my Lean Cuisine dinners for lunch just about every day.  I do enjoy a frozen pizza every now and then.  I do eat my share of frozen vegetables from time to time.  I guess when I think of it, I'm more invested in frozen foods than I thought I was.

So, what is North Dakota's creme de la creme when it comes to frozen food brands in North Dakota freezers?

According to the data compiled by Mr. Appliance, Jimmy Dean is our frozen food brand of choice.  I must say, Jimmy Dean does have the best breakfast when it comes to frozen food.  I love their bowls, and if you get the turkey sausage it's actually relatively healthy.

How about the states that surround North Dakota?

Montana agrees with us in North Dakota.  Jimmy Dean is king.  South Dakota has very poor taste in my opinion.  They prefer Totino's, which is like pizza sauce on cardboard.  Minnesota loves the Jolly Green Giant, which is a Minnesota company by the way.
