The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch

This includes Morton County in our listening area and all points south. Impacts of this potential Winter Storm

4 to 8 inches of snow with 40 mph winds. Widespread blowing snow could cause travel difficulties and significantly reduce visibility.

It appears we are right on the edge here in Bismarck-Mandan, and depending on how this system shifts could make all the difference from a couple of inches to significantly more.

The Good News?

Buy late next week, much warmer air is expected to reach North Dakota, and 40s, 50s, and even 60-degree temperatures should melt any snow we receive this weekend fast.
