Jay Z & Beyonce Spotted for the First Time Since ‘Lemonade’ Controversy
Becky...what Becky? Since Beyonce dropped her album, Lemonade, she has sent the rumor mills buzzing about Jay Z’s infidelity with an unidentified “Becky.” The hip-hop couple have kept a low profile, but the Carters made their first appearance together since the drama in Miami on Wednesday (April 27).
Jay Z and Beyonce were spotted riding around on a gold cart in Miami, clearly unfazed and not bothered by the fuss over the elusive mistress the R&B singer speaks of on her song, "Sorry."
As you may know, Queen Bey is kicking off her "Formation World Tour" in Miami. Veteran hitmaker DJ Khaled is co-headlining the trek. While Beyonce was prepping for her big night, Hov was seen enjoying a cigar and relaxing under the Miami sun.
Beyonce’s Lemonade has drawn attention for it’s martial strife narrative. On the track “Sorry” Beyonce says “You only want me when I’m not there / You better call Beck with the good hair.” That line alone made the BeyHive convinced Jay Z cheated on their Queen and went on the hunt for "Becky."
Rachel Roy and Rita Ora were named as the two alleged culprits causing them to become victims of the Hive’s venomous sting. Both women have issued statements denying that they are not the women Beyonce is referring to in the song.
But with the tour in full effect, the rumor mill should die down soon and focus on what DJ Khaled and Bey have planned. The "Formation" World Tour kicks off tonight at Marlins Park.
