Join Townsquare Media at the 6th Annual Rip Roarin’ Ribfest

The Downtown Business Association of Bismarck will be holding their 6th Annual Rip Roarin’ Ribfest from June 13-15 at the Bismarck Civic Center Lot D. The event will be open from 11am-11pm all three days! Come out for three days full of BBQ, fair food, games, a beer tent, and live music!

On-air talent from our Townsquare stations, HOT 975, Cool 98.7, 1033 US Country, and 96.5 The Fox, will be broadcasting live all day, every day of the event!

This year, there will be 5 national teams of “Ribbers” competing for supremacy of your tastebuds:

• Rasta Joe’s Jamaican-Style BBQ (new)
• Porky Chicks Arkansas BBQ (new)
• Johnson’s Virginia-Style BBQ (veteran)
• Howlin’ Coyote BBQ (veteran)
• Porky ‘n Bean BBQ (veteran & back-to-back champions)

In addition to the national teams of Ribbers, Cloverdale Foods will also be serving up their own ribs in the VIP tent (VIP tickets are available on the Ribfest website).

Live music begins at 5:00pm on Thursday & Friday, and at noon on Saturday. The music lineup for the event is as follows:

Thursday
5-7pm – Fully Loaded (cover of rock & country)
7:30-11:00pm – October Road (country)

Friday
5-7pm – Randy James Band (blues & covers)
8-11pm – Slamabama (country & rock)

Saturday
12-2pm – McMahon Brothers
5-7:30pm – The Midnight Noise Orchestra (Americana rock)
8-11pm – Bed of Roses (#1 Bon Jovi tribute band)

There will be free lunch admission on Thursday and Friday from 11am-1pm, as well as $2 off admission to Ribfest if you show your Professional Bull Riding ticket at the gate.

The 5th Annual Ribfest Road Race will start off Ribfest week on Saturday, June 8th at Sertoma Park. Come take part in the 5K walk, 5K run, or 10K run and get your day pass to Ribfest. Upon completion of the races, there will be an awards presentation at the BisMarket just a few shelters down.
