Back in 2010, the pilot for Kanye West’s unreleased HBO improv sitcom was uploaded to YouTube by actress Alison Quinn, but it never aired — and after watching the awkward clip above, we understand why.

In a 2008 interview, writer/producer Larry Charles called the show Kanye’s version of Larry David’s ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm.’

"What Kanye West said to me the first time, he said, 'I'm the black Larry David,'” Charles said. “That's the first thing he said to me. So it's like a Kanye and 'Curb' show, it's kind of improvised about the situations and stuff. It was really good, but again I think it was too hardcore for HBO.”

The video’s premise — which focuses on a kid from the Make-A-Wish Foundation who finally gets a chance to meet Kanye, his sixth favorite artist — is funny enough, but the execution fell way short, in our opinion.

So, what did you think of the clip?
