Rare Opportunity: Well-Known North Dakota Restaurant For Sale

Things are changing all of the time in Bismarck-Mandan--stores and restaurants are closing, opening, and changing hands. Bismarck is always growing and evolving. With that, we recently got news that a big change would be coming to a Bismarck restaurant.

Bismarck's Pita Pit is up for sale. The store has been operating in north Bismarck for years, and I for one, visit it frequently.

There were once nine Pita Pits scattered across the state of North Dakota. Over the years, one by one, the restaurants closed, leaving one last location open in Bismarck.

It doesn't seem like the restaurant has plans to close, but it does look like the owner, Jesse Vetter, has decided to sell. You might recognize the name as Vetter also owned and operated I Heart Mac & Cheese.

Looking For Local Buyers

According to his post on Facebook, the Bismarck Pita Pit location has some interested buyers out of Chicago. While they are entertaining that offer, the owner expressed their desire to keep it local and to sell it to someone in North Dakota.

In the post, it was also stated that some maintenance would be required.

You may also have noticed that the business was posted on Facebook marketplace four days ago (March 20th). Its current listing price is $50,000.

We don't know why he has made the decision to sell, but if you're looking for a new opportunity, you might want to look into this.
