Bobby Tarantino is headed to Hollywood. As first reported by Variety on Wednesday (Nov. 14), Logic has just signed on to star in an upcoming, as-of-yet-untitled movie helmed by Star Wars: The Force Awakens writer-director J.J. Abrams.

According to the publication, the Logic-starring film is titled Everything Must Go, and it's been labeled as "Clerks for a new generation." The film, which is also said to be a "feature on" Logic, will be co-scribed by Blackish writer Lisa McQuillan and Young Sinatra himself.

For his part, Logic is excited about taking his talents to Hollywood. "I cannot express my excitement nor my gratitude to @jjabramsofficial and everyone at @bad_robot for believing in me as an actor and writer," Logic wrote in a tweet late last night. "I am so excited to move into this next step of creativity in my career! Aaaahhhhhh this is gonna be so epic!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼😭😭😁😁."

Now, to someone who doesn't keep track of Logic, this news could be completely random, but really, it's probably something the 28-year-old's been working toward for a while now. Back in October 2017, Logic said that he'd been writing a book. A few months later, in January 2018, Bobby T said he had finished writing a book and a movie script.

Speaking with the folks at E! on the red carpet for the 2018 Grammy Awards, Logic offered up a first major hint that he was headed to the movie world.

"Yeah, well there's a lot of things that are going on right now, which is awesome," Logic said at the time. "I just finished my first novel. I started the second one. I just wrote and finished a movie that I'm really excited to star in now. I've been working really hard. It's been amazing."
