What is the Medora Hot Air Balloon Rally and the Badlands Kite Fest?

Rides in the hot air balloons are by invite only. But the rally is meant for spectators. The balloons will be in the air from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM on September 11 and 12. Families can find a spot to sit and watch the balloons float through the air as the sun rises in beautiful Medora.

The Kite Fest is open to all people who want to fly kites! Kite flying is a little later in the day, and you can see kites of all kinds. Even if you don't have a kite, you can still have a good time watching everyone fly their kites in the air.
