Salt + Scoria Now Open In Medora

Many North Dakotans are making plans to get out to Medora before the summer season wraps up. If you are planning to go, keep your eyes open for a brand-new restaurant that just opened last week.

KX News reports that the restaurant had a soft opening earlier this month, over the Fourth of July weekend, timed to coincide with the Presidential Library's opening. The report stated that Governor Kelly Armstrong was in attendance and didn't hold back his praise, sayi8ng that the restaurant serves some of the best food in the country. The eatery just had its official ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration last Thursday (July 23rd).

According to the Salt + Scoria website, Chef Candace Stock has filled the menu with native botanicals, North Dakota wild rice and grains, and ethically sourced bison, elk, and game. The menu perfectly reflects North Dakota.
