You would think that as adults we wouldn't have to be told these things, but every now and then we find ourselves googling "Is it safe to microwave ___?"

I think most of us know what's safe and isn't safe, but that doesn't mean we don't have a brain fart every now and then.

To help make sure fireworks are the only things going boom here over the next few weeks, I put together a list of things North Dakotans should never put in the microwave.

5 Things North Dakotans Shouldn't Microwave

Unless you're ready to stop, drop, and roll, don't microwave these things.

Those are just a few of the many things you shouldn't put in the microwave, but keep in mind, there are tons more. When in doubt, do a Google search, don't burn your house down.

And look, I know you're probably thinking this is a stupid article, and that you'd have to be a moron to need someone to spell all of this out, but I have a philosophy:

When common sense isn't so common (which it isn't) we go back to the basics.

Thoughts?

Personally, I think they should teach this in schools, we learn about random things we will never need to know all day, but god forbid we learn how to use basic appliances.

Yes, we should all have to pass a test and carry a license to use microwaves, ovens and other things that go boom.

Have you ever blown something up in a microwave? What was it? Send us a message in the app with the explosive details!
