Miley Cyrus Covers Cosmo for Second Time This Year

Miley Cyrus nabbed the March 2013 cover of Cosmopolitan and she reprised it with the December 2013 cover, pretty much bookending her unforgettable year with appearances on the cover the women's bible. She looked smashing in a Forever Unique bejeweled dress, nibbling on her pinky and flashing a Cheshire cat-like grin.

Cyrus acknowledged the sweeping changes in her life since her spring cover with little-to-no modesty, saying, "I'm just having the best time ever and everything’s falling into place like it’s supposed to."

She continued, "Even people who want to hate on me, they can’t even shut down the fact that I’m literally what everyone is talking about. I don’t want to say that I’m on top right now – I feel like I’m kind of an underdog in a cool way. It’s almost punk rock to like me because it’s not the right thing to do. Like, society wants to shut me down."

The singer addressed the celebs who were critics of her still-discussed VMAs performance back in August. "I don’t really care. I think everyone would have given anything to be me at that moment, because I was being one hundred percent true to myself…and not many people can say that," she said. She also says she never throws shade so others should not wind up and toss it her way, either.

Besides, her supporters are pretty major. Like Katy Perry and Kanye West. "It’s easy for Kanye to support me because we’re in totally separate lanes of competition, but for Katy to say that she appreciates what I’m really doing for the pop industry, that keeps you going. And I mean, who cares what the media buzz is if Kanye West is telling you that you’re the s—t?"

She also addressed her seemingly blithe attitude about her recent split with fiance Liam Hemsworth.

"I need to treat my music like a relationship – give it my time and all the attention it deserves – and that’s my main love right now," she said.

Cyrus finished, "This is the best time of my life. I’m not going to look back on it and be like, ‘I wish I hadn’t been dwelling over a breakup,’ you know? Because that’s not what God wants my life to be about right now. God wants my life to be about being successful and being happy and blessing other people and being blessed."
