
Minor League GM Vows to Get Prostate Exam — During Game
Minor league baseball continues to be a hotbed for the most bizarre gimmicks you can imagine.
The latest? Andy Milovich, general manager of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, has offered to get a prostate exam during a game, in a move that could have been inspired by Katie Couric.
Milovich said he'll do it while belting out 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' during the seventh inning stretch, but only if a local girl battling brain cancer gets 10,000 likes on her Facebook page by Thursday.
"It's not like I would be getting it at home plate," Milovich said. "I'll likely do it from our radio booth and the fans will see me from the shoulder up."
