Whereabouts Is He?

Whereabouts is he? --He was seen "hoofing it" through a residential area -- on Nebraska Ave, on the north end of town around 3 pm.

Videos have been shared on Bismarck People's Reporting News Facebook page, and the comments on the post do not disappoint.

One person commented, "Somewhere there's a hunter is freezing his a$$ off moose hunting."

Another person wrote, "He ain't moosing around."

Don't Do This

Exercise caution! These creature make seem cute and give you all of the holiday vibes, they aren't to be messed with. Don't try to get a selfie with one, you will regret it.

They're insanely huge creatures with giant antlers. They will use them if they feel threatened.

Here are some tips on what to do if there is a moose in your neighborhood.

1. Keep your pets on a leash.

Your animal could provoke the moose and cause it to become aggressive. Keep your pets close.

2. Keep your distance.

Don't offer the moose snacks, and don't drive up to it in your car.

3. Call for help

If/when you spot a moose in a residential area, you should contact North Dakota Game and Fish.

Stay safe, and remember: the best way to handle wildlife is to leave them alone.
