NDDOT Installing New Kiosks in North Dakota This Week
It has not always been easy or convenient to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for things like registering your vehicle. The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is working to make it so much easier to take care of your transportation-related needs. This week, the Motor Vehicle and Driver License Divisions of NDDOT are placing nine new DMV kiosks around North Dakota.
On Wednesday (February 10) a Facebook announcement was made saying, "This installation is part of an ongoing process to add 44 new locations and increase options customers have when doing business with the NDDOT." And the nine new kiosks will actually be an upgrade from existing self-serve kiosks in North Dakota. There will be even more service options available than before.
The NDDOT's Facebook post states that additional drivers license services will be available with the new kiosks. On top of that future terminals are going to also include devices for blind and low vision citizens to navigate the screens. Get the full story from the NDDOT here.
Bismarck currently does have DMV kiosk locations located in Kirkwood Mall, the Stamart Travel Location off I-194, and even at the DMV.
