New Buffet Opening in This North Dakota City

While there are tons of great restaurants to eat out at throughout North Dakota, we don't have a lot of buffet options in the state. Well, good news foodies, a new buffet is opening soon in Fargo, and will occupy the old Mexican Village building at 3155 45th Street.

As I'm sure you remember, after 50 years in business, the owners of Mexican Village made the decision to close the restaurant. This was back in 2024; since then, the people of Fargo have been anxiously waiting to see what new eatery would take over the space. Now we know.  According to Inforum, a restaurant called Phoenix Sun will soon open in the location.

Phoenix Sun will offer all kinds of Asian cuisine: sushi, pho, Chinese food, hibachi, seafood, salads and many desserts like ice cream. According to the restaurant's website, they will offer top tier ingredients in the food.

The owners have not yet revealed an opening date, but the establishment is set to open this year (2026).
