
New Report Ranks North Dakota For Dental Health
Some of us don't enjoy going to the dentist; it can be scary, and every now and then, you could experience some pain. Personally, I think regardless of pain or discomfort, it's always nice to know that your teeth are in tip-top shape.
Regardless of whether or not we like going to the dentist, it's something that we need to do. Walking around North Dakota, you see a lot of friendly faces. After all, we are "North Dakota Nice". Everyone here smiles and waves, and as far as I've been able to tell, our teeth look pretty good.

Interestingly enough, a study was done by Wallet Hub, and it ranked each state's dental health. They looked at metrics such as the number of dentists per capita, sugar-sweetened beverage consumption, the share of adult smokers, and 25 others.
Did you know: According to the CDC, 35 percent of adults have gone a year without seeing the dentist.

According to the source, North Dakotans are doing a pretty good job of taking care of their teeth. Our state ranks number 7 in the nation for dental health. States with the worst dental health include Mississippi, West Virginia, Arkansas, and Texas.
