No Bull$h*t! There’s A Testicle Festival In North Dakota

North Dakotans are known for having unique tastes. Everything from our fashion choices to word pronunciations and even foods makes people from other areas of the country scratch their heads a bit.

This will not only make you scratch your head, but it will likely make you feel a little sick.

I can't believe I'm typing this, but you can eat testicles in North Dakota.

Actually. it's not just that you CAN eat them in North Dakota; it's that many people DO eat them in North Dakota.

Reminder: we're talking about testicles. Eating testicles.

Obviously, I'm not talking about human testicles; that would be ridiculous and probably a crime.

Specifically, I'm talking about bull testicles. We have a special name for them. Have you ever heard of "Rocky Mountain Oysters?" If not, chances are, you're a normal human being.

I'm not originally from North Dakota, so I thought it was a joke when I first heard this. To my surprise and disgust, I found out that it was not a joke. In fact, many North Dakotans consider this a delicacy.

I know this sounds like something they would feature on Fear Factor, but it is a real thing people enjoy, so much so that there are festivals for it.

How much will "Rocky Mountain Oysters" (testicles) run you at this event? -Not as much as you might think. You can get a plate of them with cornbread for only $13.99.
