Gas Prices are on the Rise but One North Dakota City Sees Price Drop
Gas prices are on the rise all around North Dakota and across the country.
If you look around Bismarck-Mandan, the gas prices seem to be rising in the blink of an eye. I swear it was only $2.99 around town just days ago. Now, the Cenex across the street from my work has worked its way up to $3.29! And they say the gas prices are just going to keep rising - like they always do. But one lucky North Dakota city has actually seen a recent gas price drop.
One North Dakota city recently saw a 10 cent drop in gas prices.
The town of Devils Lake saw gas prices of $3.19 a gallon around Christmas time. And while gas prices around the state seem to be skyrocketing, Devils Lake Journal reports that the price of gas in Devils Lake just dropped 10 cents. Devils Lake may be seeing gas prices at $3.09 a gallon, but there is still some way cheaper gas in North Dakota.
Where is the cheapest gas in North Dakota?
At the time of this story, there is still gas for under $3.00 a gallon in North Dakota. The cheapest gas in the state, according to Gas Buddy, is at a Fargo Cenex for $2.59 a gallon. While we can't beat a price like that, locally, one can still find decent prices. And the cheapest gas in Bismarck is currently at Sam's Club for $2.80 a gallon. I better go sit in line to fill up because we see another spike in prices!
